Finding equipment and tools for digging trenches and shelters in Al-Hol camp

On January 27, the Internal Security Forces, with the support of the Syrian Democratic Forces and the Women’s Protection Units, announced the launch of the third phase of the “Humanitarian and Security” operation, within the Al-Hol camp, the most dangerous in the world, to pursue ISIS cells that have recently become active.

Teams from the Internal Security Forces, the Syrian Democratic Forces, and the Women’s Protection Units continued to comb the “migrant women’s sector,” which is considered one of the most dangerous and militant sectors of Al-Hol camp.

Al-Hol camp, 40 km east of the city of Hasaka, consists of 8 sectors, including the “migrant women’s sector,” which contains women and children from the families of foreign extremist ISIS mercenaries from more than 50 nationalities around the world.

On the second day of combing operations, Internal Security Forces teams found military equipment such as bags and military masks, in addition to tools for digging trenches and shelters.

On the other side of the campaign, the Al-Hawl camp administration records personal data related to women from the families of ISIS mercenaries in the “migrant women sector,” which includes recording their names and taking personal photos, in addition to recording fingerprints and eye prints.

Yesterday, children from ISIS families attacked journalists and threw stones at them. Internal Security Forces also found mines and arrested a mercenary disguised as ISIS women in Al-Hol camp, who was hiding in the fifth sector, the “migrant women’s sector.”
