KOBANI

A crowd from the city of Kobani and its countryside gathered today in Martyr Akid Square, while residents of Ain Issa and its countryside gathered in front of the city council and then set off toward the Tishrin Dam to join the protest there.

This marks the seventh group to head to the Tishrin Dam since the protests began on December 8, 2024, demanding a halt to the attacks by the Turkish occupation state and its mercenaries.

Ahmad Al-Samou, a resident of Ain Issa and one of those heading to the Tishrin Dam, said: “We continue the Resistance of Dignity. The resistance at the Tishrin Dam is a moral and humanitarian duty. The occupation’s plans to seize our land must be confronted.”
