Leader Ocalan’s birthday marked by celebrations across NE Syria 

On the occasion of April 4th, the birthday of Leader Abdullah Ocalan, a series of events were held in the cities of "Hasaka, Tal Tamer, Tal Brak, and Al-Shaddadi" in Jazera Canton.

Hasakah

In the city of Hasaka, the Green Democratic Party, in coordination with the Youth Office of the Syrian Democratic Council, organized a tree-planting campaign at the Martyr Dijwar Cemetery in the village of Al-Daoudia, in the countryside of Hasaka. The campaign included planting flowers on the graves of the martyrs in appreciation of their sacrifices.

The organizers commemorated the martyrs of the Tishrin Dam resistance and the martyrs of freedom, emphasizing that the Leader’s birthday symbolizes freedom for all peoples aspiring to liberation.

In a related event, the Council of Martyrs’ Families in Hasaka organized a special celebration for the children of martyrs at the Sardam Hall, where dozens of children and their families participated. The event concluded with the distribution of gifts to the children.

Tal Tamr

In Tal Tamr, the Women’s Committee of the Martyrs’ Families Council organized a celebration for the children of martyrs on the occasion of the leader’s birthday.

The event began with a moment of silence, followed by a speech by committee member Sanaa Aboud, who affirmed the continuation on the path and philosophy of Leader Abdullah Ocalan.

Performances were given by the "Kobikan Kurdistan" and "Future Sparrows" groups in celebration of the occasion, followed by the distribution of sweets to the attendees.

Tal Brak

In Tal Brak, the Women's Council of the Martyrs’ Families Council issued a public statement in front of the council building. Co-chair Bushra Al-Haloush affirmed that the Turkish occupation state has continued its policy of torture and annihilation against Leader Abdullah Ocalan for 26 years in an attempt to break the will of the peoples who believe in his philosophy.

The statement emphasized that the Leader’s peace initiatives represent a real opportunity to establish peace in the Middle East and called on international human rights organizations to pressure the Turkish occupation state to release the leader and all freedom detainees.

Al-Shaddadi

In Al-Shaddadi, a celebration was held in front of the Martyrs’ Families Council building, with the participation of representatives of civil institutions and families of martyrs from Al-Shaddadi and surrounding areas such as Al-Dashisha, Markada, and Al-Arisha.

A speech was delivered on behalf of the Martyrs’ Families Council by administrator Iman Al-Faraj, who stated that the birth of Leader Abdullah Ocalan marks the birth of an internationalist ideology that serves humanity, and that he represents the light guiding peoples through crises.

Mahmoud Al-Ajour, a representative of the Democratic Union Party in Al-Arisha, also spoke about the symbolism of this day, saying: “The Leader’s birthday is an exceptional event, as it came during difficult times for the region’s peoples.”

The celebration concluded with musical and artistic performances, and sweets were distributed to attendees and children of martyrs, in an atmosphere of joy and reaffirmation of the commitment to continue on the path of freedom.
