Stêrk Organization calls to end children's killing

The Stêrk Organization for the Protection of Children's Rights condemned the killing of a 16 years old boy by Turkish occupation soldiers and called on relevant authorities to put an end to the killing of children.

The Organization issued a statement regarding the killing of the boy, Hussein Salmo, by Turkish occupation soldiers near the village of Douda, located between Qamishlo and Amuda, on June 8th.

Children held banners reading, "No to Turkish attacks," "Stop the assaults," "Stop the killing," and "We want a safe life”, during the statement, delivered at Halpça Park in Qamishlo,

Rojda Khalil, member of the Stêrk Organization, read the statement, after condemning the crime, she highlighted the ongoing attacks by the Turkish occupation state on the regions of NE Syria and its continued targeting of civilians and children. She stated, "These attacks must be stopped so that children can live safely and freely in their areas, villages, and fields."

Furthermore, Rojda Khalil urged the parties responsible for protecting children's rights to take a firm stance against these killings and to save the region's inhabitants, especially the children.
