Educational Authority in Jazira issues circular regarding displaced students

The Educational Authority in Jazira issued a circular concerning preparatory and secondary school examinations, stating:

“Due to the circumstances facing the region, which have led to the displacement of many families from their areas and deprived many students of their right to education,

The Educational Authority in Jazira Canton announces the commencement of a standardized examination for both preparatory and secondary levels for those who were unable to complete their education due to repeated displacement.

Registration begins on the 10th and continues until the 17th of February.

Registration will take place at the Education Committee building in the city of Qamishlo.

The examination will be held on the 28th of February.

Application requirements:

1. The applicant must be among those displaced from 2018 up to the date of issuance of this circular.

2. Four personal photos must be submitted.

3. A copy of the personal ID or family booklet (father, mother, and student pages) must be provided.

4. Applicants for the secondary level must submit a certified copy of the ninth-grade certificate.

5. Registration fee: 10,000 Syrian pounds.”
