Drone attacks target Hawler, Sulaymaniyah 

The Kurdistan Region witnessed a wave of drone attacks from Friday through early Saturday, targeting Hawler and Sulaymaniyah, triggering multiple explosions, causing material damage, and leaving two people injured, according to local sources.

Local sources said that more than eight drones were shot down over the Kazna area in Hawler on Friday, near the U.S. Consulate. They added that air defense systems protecting the consulate and the nearby Hawler International Airport intercepted and destroyed the drones.

In Sulaymaniyah, a drone struck the Tasluja area, locally known as the "Barutkhana," located behind the Tasluja checkpoint near 100 Meter Road.

According to an informed source, the strike ignited a large fire inside the warehouse, followed by a series of explosions. The attacks also injured two people. No further information has been released regarding the extent of the damage or the party responsible for the attacks.
