Demands to move examination centers inside Kobani City

The city of Kobani witnessed student protests today in front of the district administration building, calling for their examination centers to be relocated from Sarrin to within the city.

During the protest, students raised banners demanding a reconsideration of the decision regarding the distribution of examination centers. They stressed that traveling to Sarrin to take exams places a heavy burden on them due to transportation difficulties, high travel costs, concerns related to the security situation, and the long distance.

A number of students pointed out that transferring the examination centers into Kobani city would ease their suffering and provide a more stable atmosphere during the examination period.

These protests come as preparations for public examinations continue in the region, amid popular and student demands to facilitate students’ access to their examination centers and ensure that the examination process proceeds appropriately.

The protesters confirmed that their demonstrations will continue until their demands are met and the examination centers are moved inside the city of Kobani.
