Deir ez-Zor Dignitaries: We will defend our areas alongside SDF
Two notables from the Al-Aqeidat and Al-Bakara tribes in Deir ez-Zor Canton explained that the Damascus government and the National Defenses aim to undermine and destabilize security and stability, stressing their position in support of the SDF.
One of the dignitaries of the Al-Aqeidat tribe, Maher Al-Muhaisen, explained that the attacks aim to undermine the security and stability of the region and terrorize the people to force them to emigrate, in addition to the crimes committed by the Damascus government forces and the so-called "National Defense" against the people.
Al-Muhaisen stressed their support for the Syrian Democratic Forces.
"We will not accept the return of the regime to the pre-2011 era that shed the blood of innocents. We will defend our areas and will not allow the displacement of our people. Al-Muhaisen addressed a message to those who join the ranks of the Damascus government forces, saying: " You are bombing your people and brothers.
Fawaz Al-Wais, the notable of the Al-Bakara tribe condemned the attacks launched on Deir ez-Zor which led to the martyrdom of citizens and the injury of others.
He expressed his support for the Democratic Autonomous Administration and the Syrian Democratic Forces.
"We, notables of tribes stand together with our Autonomous Administration, and demand the international coalition to take a firm position alongside the people to stop the attacks" he concluded his speech.
