Hundreds of people from eastern Deir ez-Zor countryside held a rally to denounce the attacks of the Damascus government and the so-called National Defense.
The rally was also attended by representatives of local councils, members of civil institutions, and committees of the Zenobia Women's Assembly in eastern Deir ez-Zor countryside.
The rally started in front of Hajin General Hospital and reached the square of the Eastern Region Council in the city, the participants carried banners reading "Down with the Damascus government and the National Defense Militia" and "Shame on the killers of children." In addition to chanting slogans condemning the massacres.
the head of the Civil Council in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor Canton, Saud Al-Ghadhban, read a statement on behalf of the residents, which read:
"In the name of the Eastern Region Council in Deir ez-Zor, we express our strong condemnation of actions of the criminal gangs known as the National Defense and the Iranian militias.
The statement called on "the world and the international community to put an end to the violations committed by these criminal gangs against our people in Deir ez-Zor. We also demand that these massacres be classified as war crimes."
The statement also affirmed the support of the Syrian Democratic Forces to repel the aggression and terrorism.
