Southern Lebanon, particularly the areas of Nabatieh and Tyre, witnessed a series of continuous airstrikes and attacks over the past hours carried out by warplanes and drones. The strikes targeted homes, public service centers, cars, and motorcycles, resulting in deaths, injuries, and widespread destruction of residential buildings and commercial establishments.

This came simultaneously with renewed urgent warnings issued by the Israeli army to residents of several towns in southern Lebanon and the Bekaa Valley, calling for immediate evacuation.

The situation on the ground in the south reflected what appeared to be a shift by Israel toward a policy of intensified and multi-directional pressure. The strikes were not limited to the outskirts of border villages but extended deep into relatively densely populated civilian areas, in what appeared to carry both political and military messages.

At dawn, the Israeli army launched a heavy bombardment targeting what is known as the “economic triangle” near Marj Harouf in the Nabatieh district. The attack resulted in the destruction of commercial and industrial shops, vegetable markets, and a fuel station.

The towns of Habboush, Kfar Roummane, Harouf, Toul, Seir Al-Gharbiyeh, Toura, Al-Ghandourieh, Qaquaiyat Al-Jisr, and Zawtar Al-Sharqiyeh also witnessed a series of violent airstrikes that caused extensive destruction to residential buildings, commercial institutions, and shops.

Meanwhile, ambulance and civil defense teams continued throughout the night to remove rubble and recover victims. The death toll rose to nine people, including a child and women, following the complete destruction of a three-story residential building.
