The Democratic Autonomous Administration of NE Syria issued a statement to the public on the occasion of the Islamic New Year 1447, in which it extended its congratulations to the components of Syrian society and the broader Islamic nation.

The statement began with greetings:

"In the name of the Democratic Autonomous Administration of NE Syria, we extend our warmest congratulations and sincere blessings to our people in NE Syria, to the entire Syrian people, and to the Islamic nation on the occasion of the Islamic New Year 1447 AH. We pray to God that this year brings goodness and peace, filled with hope, stability, and prosperity."

The Autonomous Administration recalled the great values brought by Islam—mercy, love, tolerance, justice, and respect for human dignity without discrimination. It also highlighted the values of the Prophet’s migration, which embodied sacrifice, selflessness, and brotherhood among people regardless of their ethnic or religious affiliations.

The Administration affirmed that, stemming from the noble human values of Islam, it insists on the importance of reinforcing unity and cohesion among all components of Syrian society, Muslims, Christians, Yazidis, Syriacs, and all others, based on mutual respect and coexistence.

It also noted that NE Syria, which stands as a model of diversity and peaceful coexistence, will remain a platform for civil peace, intercommunal harmony, and the protection of universal human values.

On this occasion, it stressed that building Syria’s future requires joint efforts toward a democratic, united, pluralistic, and decentralized state that guarantees the rights and freedoms of all its components without exclusion or marginalization.
