Crimes of Turkish occupation in NE Syria during past 7 days

The Turkish occupation state's attacks on the NE region of Syria and its targeting of the region's infrastructure and services, including hospitals, schools, health care centers, oil sites, power stations, as well as citizens' homes, resulted in the martyrdom of 9 people, including a cinematographer, and the wounding of dozens with varying injuries.

On December 23, the attacks of the Turkish occupation state on the Baneh Şakfti station in the city of Derik, and the Odeh station in the Tirbespiye district, which was feeding the Al-Swaydiya station designated for supplying the region with electricity through turbines, caused a power outage in the villages and towns of the Tirbespiye and Çil Agha and Derik City, and the 2 stations were completely out of service.

These attacks also led to the deprivation of 89,418 male and female students from education, and 712 schools stopped serving in Jazera Canton, according to the Education Body in North and East Syria. also 5 schools were also directly targeted in Jazera Canton, and the educational process was stopped throughout Euphrates and Afrin Cantons/Shahba.

For its part, the Health Body in the Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria revealed that the central oxygen station that provided oxygen to the region’s hospitals, the dialysis center in Jazera Canton, and a health center that provides services to 400 people in the Euphrates Canto were completely out of service, due to the attacks, that affected these centers.

The patient, Ahmed Abd al-Rahman Khadr (65 years old), who had been receiving treatment at the dialysis center in the city of Qamishlo for more than 2 years, lost his life after the center went out of service, due to the Turkish bombing it on December 25.

The dialysis center in the city of Qamishlo district treatment for 70 patients, contained 6 dialysis machines, and employed a medical staff of 24 people.

On the other hand, the Internal Security Forces - North and East Syria revealed that 3 members of the forces were injured during the attacks of the Turkish occupation state on security checkpoints in the North and East region of Syria.
