Citizen wounded in transitional govt forces' shelling on Deir Hafer

A citizen was injured during renewed shelling by armed groups affiliated with the Syrian transitional government forces on Deir Hafer countryside in Tabqa province.

ANHA correspondents in Deir Hafer area of Tabqa province reported that the area' villages were subjected to shelling by armed groups affiliated with the Syrian transitional government forces.

Field commanders in the Syrian Democratic Forces reported that the shelling was carried out by a drone, from which several missiles were fired targeting the area.

The shelling resulted in the injury of a civilian near Deir Hafer crossing, located between Tabqa province and Aleppo city, and he was transferred to a hospital for receiving the medical treatment.

Deir Hafer area has recently witnessed repeated attacks by groups affiliated with the transitional government forces, the most prominent of which was the massacre committed against civilians of Om al-Tina in the city's countryside on the night of September 20-21, using drone strikes. This resulted in the death of eight civilians and the injury of three others.
