Citizen lost due to his injury as result of being run over by unknown car in Afrin

The Afrin-Syria Human Rights Organization quoted a local source as saying that the Kurdish citizen, “Hamid Muhammad Ahmad, 42 years old,” from the village of Qantara - Maabatli district in the Afrin countryside, lost his life on December 19, 2023, after his health condition deteriorated after he was run over by an unknown military vehicle. He was run over by unknown gunmen and fled after their crime.”

According to the organization, citizen Hamid was working in the city of Afrin in the industry, and he was kidnapped by an unidentified armed group. He was beaten and tortured, after which they took away his personal belongings and a sum of money, “500” US dollars, and then left him to go to work. However, he did not return to the industry, but decided to go to work. To his village "Qantara" and during his return, on the road around the junction of the village of Juwaiq "Jawaqa", he was run over by a military car so that the perpetrators covered up their crime of beating and torturing citizen Hamid and stealing his personal belongings.
