Celebrating Nowruz "Freedom" in North Kurdistan
Under the slogan "Free Leader, Democratic Society," Nowruz is being celebrated today in 10 centers across North Kurdistan.
Tens of thousands of people gathered today in the Nowruz celebration squares in Wan, Bedlis, Mush, Çewlig, Shirnakh, Nusaybin, Stewra Merdine, Weranshar, Pirsus, and Hewaga Rihaye in North Kurdistan.
Residents are celebrating Nowruz, which is being held this year in North Kurdistan under the slogans "Free Leader, Democratic Society" and "Democratic Society for Freedom." They are dressed in traditional Kurdish attire, lighting the Nowruz torch amidst ululations, dancing the traditional Kurdish dance (dabke), and chanting slogans.
