Calls grow to end leader Ocalan's isolation

Despite the historic call issued by leader Ocalan, the Turkish state continues to enforce a severe and inhumane isolation regime against him. In response, women from across the Euphrates Region shared their views on the matter.

 Shirin Mohammed, the Co-chair of the Council of Religions and Beliefs in Kobani, condemned the Turkish state's actions, emphasizing that no lasting solution can be achieved without leader Ocalan. She stated: “The occupying Turkish state has violated all international laws by imprisoning the leader for over 26 years."

 Mohammed stressed the importance of collective action, asserting: “We, as women of the world, raise our voices and pledge to struggle until leader Ocalan is physically free .”

 Khanim Ali, the member of the Council of Martyrs’ Families in the Euphrates, echoed this stance, criticizing Turkey for persisting in the leader’s isolation despite his historic appeal. “We say to the Turkish state: Enough. Nothing has changed since the leader's call. The violations continue.”

 Ruden Mohammed, the Director of the Women's Council within the Martyrs’ Families Council of the Euphrates Canton, declared that the Turkish state's objective is to silence the people. “We, as Kurdish women and as women of the world, will remain on the frontlines of struggle until we can welcome the Leader among us. He opened our eyes to the world, and for that, we remain devoted to him—he is our spirit, our heart, and our mind.”

 She concluded her remarks by saying: “ The ok leader stood for the rights of all peoples, we must struggle  for his physical freedom.”
