The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported today that the bodies of two people from Idlib, working in the cumin trade, were found murdered in mysterious circumstances by unknown persons in the village of Tal Sakin in the Hama countryside.

The incident raised a state of anxiety among the residents, amid escalating security tensions in the region, in the absence of any official information about the identity of the perpetrators or the motives for the crime.

Thus, the number of cases of revenge, liquidation and premeditated murder, since the beginning of 2025 in various Syrian governorates, has reached 175 operations, claiming the lives of 411 people.
