Autonomous Administration of Jazera Canton announces areas of celebrating Nowroz 2024
Democratic Autonomous Administration of Jazera Canton revealed the locations for celebrating Nowroz for the year 2024 in the Canton, which will be held under the slogan “Freedom for leader Apo, a solution to the Kurdish issue.”
Today, the Democratic Autonomous Administration of Jazera Canton issued a statement in which it announced the places for celebrating Nowroz for the year 2024.
The statement was read in front of the Martyr Youssef Gulo roundabout, west of the city of Qamishlo, in the presence of representatives and actresses of the Democratic Autonomous-Administration of Jazera Canton, Kongra Star, service and civil institutions, the Democratic Society Movement, the Martyrs’ Families Council, and political parties.
The statement was read in Kurdish by Kongra Star spokeswoman Rehan Loqo, and in Arabic by Talaat Yunus, the co-chair of the Executive Council of the Democratic Autonomous Administration of Jazera Canton.
The statement indicated that Newroz celebrations will be held in 7 cities and districts of Jazera Canton, which are: “Dirk in Newroz Square on Mamshur Road, Tirbespiyê in Newroz Square in Drêjîk, Girke legê and Çil Agha in Newroz Square in the village of Halik, Qamishlo in Newroz Square in Hemo, and Amuda Square, Newroz Jaghir Bazaar, Darbasiya im Newroz Çolbestan Square, and Hasaka in Newroz Square in the Western Dam.
The statement explained: “We celebrate Nowroz this year under the slogan of freedom for leader Apo, a solution to the Kurdish issue.”
The statement called on: “All of our people to participate in the Nowroz celebrations in the spirit of the Newroz Residence, and let us make the Newroz squares into arenas for raising the pace of resistance and struggle.”
