Autonomous Administration celebrates July 19 Revolution, calls for unity

The statement reads: "On this historic occasion, the Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria extends its warmest congratulations to our people on the 13th anniversary of the July 19 Revolution.

This revolution marked a turning point in the history of the region’s peoples and components, laying the foundation for a new era defined by freedom, dignity, coexistence, and social justice. This revolution emerged at a critical moment in Syria’s history, as the country was sinking into a cycle of violence and oppression.

The will of the peoples of North and East Syria rose to chart a different path, rejecting destruction and conflict, and outlining a pluralistic, decentralized democratic project rooted in the people’s will and reflective of their true aspirations for building Syria’s future. The significance of the July 19 Revolution extends beyond the region, serving as a pioneering model that can address the entire Syrian crisis. Our people, with all their components, united and made great sacrifices, including thousands of martyrs who gave their lives defending their land and people, standing up for human dignity against terrorism and oppression. We honor them today with reverence and loyalty, renewing our pledge to follow their path until the revolution’s goals are fully achieved."

" The Democratic Autonomous Administration, a fruit of this revolution, stands as one of its most significant achievements. It has established the foundations of civilian governance, inclusive decision-making for all components, and security and stability during some of the most complex and dangerous periods in the region’s history. Thanks to the struggle and free will of our people, North and East Syria has become a model for Syria in peaceful coexistence, good governance, and community development."
