Armed attack on Internal Security Forces checkpoint in Tel Hamis

The Internal Security Forces reported that one of their checkpoints in the city of Tel Hamis in the Jazera canton was attacked, but no casualties were reported among their forces. They confirmed that they have begun pursuing the perpetrators of the attack.

The General Command of the Internal Security Forces in North and East Syria reported that one of its checkpoints in the city of Tal Hamis, in the village of Al-Bajaria in the Jazera canton of North and East Syria, was targeted by "terrorists."

In a statement issued early this morning, the General Command explained that the perpetrators of the attack fired an RPG from the vicinity of the village, which landed near the targeted checkpoint without causing any casualties among the forces.

The General Command of the Internal Security Forces in North and East Syria affirmed its continued mission to protect the population and maintain security and stability in the region. It also emphasized that it will pursue anyone who attempts to tamper with the security of society or destabilize civil peace, noting that it has begun investigations and combing the village to arrest the perpetrators.
