Yusuf Koti, Co-Chair of the Union of Intellectuals of al-Jazira, called for the circumstances surrounding the assassination of Siban Hazni, a fighter in the al-Hasakah Brigade, to be disclosed. He also called on the Syrian transitional government to hold accountable all parties that incite fighting and threaten social peace in the country, stressing the need for all components of Syrian society to stand together to curb hate speech and ensure the success of the integration process. Syrians are facing a growing wave of price increases affecting various goods and food products, amid declining purchasing power. This has prompted households to cut back on their purchases and limit them to necessities, while markets are experiencing a state of stagnation.

Students in Girkê Legê have called for a review of the decision limiting the teaching of the Kurdish language to three classes per week, stressing their commitment to their right to continue their education in their mother tongue. (Photos and video attached).

Despite the decision by the Ministry of Energy in the transitional government to introduce three types of diesel fuel at new prices, the two categories designated for heating, agriculture, and public transportation remain unavailable at fuel stations and in markets across al-Hasakah Governorate. Meanwhile, hundreds of generators have ceased operating due to rising fuel prices.

International relations researcher Tarek Wahbi believes that the Houthi movement’s efforts to seize control of the western coast and the area surrounding the Bab al-Mandab Strait come within the context of the military transformations taking place in the region, particularly the Iranian-American war. He explained that Tehran is using its allies to ease pressure on itself, at a time when developments could lead to broader Gulf and US escalation in Yemen.

Owners of more than 3,000 motorcycles in Hama city and its countryside are awaiting completion of registration procedures and the issuance of license plates, amid severe congestion and calls to increase the number of registration committees and extend the deadline, as the implementation date approaches for a decision banning unlicensed motorcycles from entering the city.
