After 17 days of kidnapping...Fate of Roj's Suleiman Ahmed is still unknown
KDP authorities continue to kidnap the journalist and editor of Roj News Agency, Suleiman Ahmed for 17 days, no information being received about him, despite calls and appeals launched by media centers and bodies.

Journalist Suleiman Ahmed went to visit his family in the city of Aleppo on October 1, after the death of his father, Muhammad Ahmed, at the age of 66 years.
KDP kidnapped him during his return from Syria at the Faysh Khabur crossing, and contact with him was completely lost 17 days ago.
Dozens of media institutions, local, regional and international also called on KDP to release the editor of Roj News Agency, Suleiman Ahmed.
Both CPJ and RSF, which are concerned with the rights of journalists at the global level issued a decision to drop the charges against journalist Suleiman and release him immediately.
CPJ and RSF also criticized the authorities in southern Kurdistan because of its continued violations of international laws.
