9 killed, 1 injured across Syria in 24 hours

In the city of Daraa, the bodies of two young men from the villages of Koya and Beit Ara in the Yarmouk Basin area of rural Daraa were found. They had been executed on the spot by an armed group in the village of Jileen in western rural Daraa. No information has been reported about the identity of the attackers.

 In Latakia, two young men were killed — one of whom had special needs. The body of a third young man from the village of Batmoush was found with a gunshot wound following sudden raids carried out by forces of the Damascus regime. During these operations, dozens of homes were burned, along with a school, a shopping mall, and a sports club in the villages of Beit Ana and Al-Daliya in rural Jableh.

 In Homs, one person was killed by gunfire following armed clashes between two families in the village of Mahin in eastern rural Homs. The conflict stemmed from an old dispute that escalated into an exchange of gunfire.

 Another young man from the Wadi Al-Dahab neighborhood died under torture, days after he was arrested by forces of the Damascus regime in Homs and taken to an unknown location.

 Additionally, Hafiz Youssef Al-Tawil, a young man from the village of Barouha in the Talkalakh area of western rural Homs, died about a week after being arrested by Damascus regime security forces.

 One civilian sustained varying injuries from shrapnel after a landmine — a remnant of war — exploded near a civilian transport vehicle in the Jazl-Al-Satah Al-Abyad area of rural Homs. He was transferred to a hospital for treatment.

In Daraa, one person was killed after accidentally shooting himself while mishandling his weapon in the city of Al-Sanamayn in northern rural Daraa.
