8, including a former leader of ISIS mercenaries, were killed in the violent clashes that took place between local factions and a group accused of belonging to the mercenaries, in the city of Nawa in the western countryside of Daraa.

It is noteworthy that the leader who was killed in the clash held the position of “prince” with ISIS mercenaries and hailed from the town of Al-Shajara in the western countryside of Daraa. previously worked in the Yarmouk region among the ranks of mercenaries in 2018, and also served as the governor of Houran with ISIS, and has a role in strengthening ties between mercenary cells in southern Syria.

Violent clashes began last night, following a raid on a house in the northern neighborhood, by members of the local factions that made a settlement with the Damascus government in 2018, “A group accused of belonging to ISIS is holed up there,” according to the Daraa 24 website.
