7 members of National Defense Forces killed in Hama countryside in ISIS attack

7 members of the National Defense Forces of the Damascus Forces were killed in an attack by ISIS mercenaries in the Tal Salama area in the vicinity of Duizen in the eastern countryside of Hama, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

In this context, the National Defense Forces and militants loyal to the Damascus forces carried out a sweeping campaign east of the town of Jubb al-Jarrah, reaching the Jabal al-Balas area in the Homs countryside.

For 4 days, Damascus forces have continued to push military reinforcements to the Syrian desert region, in preparation for the start of the process of combing the area from ISIS mercenaries in Jabal al-Bishri, Jabal al-Amour, Jabal Shaer, and the desert of Palmyra.

The desert is witnessing great activity by ISIS mercenaries, from which the latter's attacks are launched against sites and points belonging to the Damascus forces.

The death toll during attacks within the Syrian desert, according to the Syrian Observatory, has reached 193 people since the beginning of 2024.
