556 Iraqis leave al-Hol Camp

Within the framework of coordination between the al-Hol Camp administration, the Security Committee, and the Immigration and Displacement Committee in the Iraqi Parliament, a new batch of Iraqi refugees, including 170 families, left al-Hol Camp, east of al-Hasakah canton, on Tuesday.

The batch set off at exactly 2:00 pm, via a convoy of cars accompanied by a tight security guard, from the camp, heading towards Iraqi territory. This is the third batch of Iraqi families leaving al-Hol Camp this year.

The number of people was 556, including women, children, men and young men, within 170 families that submitted their documents.

The Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria continues to operate flights for those wishing to return to their homes.

Al-Hol Camp, the most dangerous camp in the world, east of the city of Hasakah in the North and East Syria, according to the latest statistics obtained by ANHA's agency from the camp administration, houses 42,781 people, including 19,530 Iraqis and 16,779 Syrians, while the number of foreigners is 6,461 people, 11 people of unknown their offspring .
