2 Turkish occupation soldiers killed, injured and surveillance cameras destroyed in Zap and Metina

The Press Center of the People's Defense Forces (HPG) issued a statement to the public detailing the operations conducted by the Free Women's Units - Star (YJA-STAR) and the People's Defense Forces in Zap and Metina. The statement also included statistics on attacks carried out by the occupation army on the Medya defense areas from December 20 to 24. The statement reads as follows:

"In Martyr Delil area, west of Zap:

On December 22, our forces targeted occupation soldiers twice with heavy weapons in the resistance area of Bahar Hill.

On December 21 at 12:30 and 14:30, our forces targeted occupation soldiers with heavy weapons in the resistance area of Judi Hill.

On December 23 at 15:00, our forces intercepted occupation soldiers moving towards our combat tunnels in the resistance area of Judi Hill with light weapons.

On December 23 at 15:30 and 16:40, our forces targeted occupation soldiers with heavy weapons in the resistance area of Judi Hill.

On December 23 at 12:10, Free Women's Units - Star sniped occupation soldiers in the resistance area of Amadiya Hill, resulting in the death of one occupation soldier.

On December 24 at 16:10, Free Women's Units - Star sniped occupation soldiers as they attempted to cover their positions with curtains in the resistance area of Amadiya Hill, injuring one occupation soldier.

In the Metina area:

On December 24 at 13:10, Free Women's Units - Star sniped and destroyed one of the surveillance cameras belonging to the occupiers in the resistance area of Serê Metina.

Attacks by the Turkish occupation army with prohibited weapons:

On December 20, 23, and 24, our tunnels in the resistance area of FM Hill in Martyr Delil area, west of Zap, were bombed with prohibited weapons three times.

On December 22, our tunnels in the resistance area of Amadiya Hill in Martyr Delil area, west of Zap, were bombed twice with prohibited weapons.

On December 22 and 24, our tunnels in the resistance area of Shilazah in Metina were bombed seven times with prohibited weapons.

Attacks by the Turkish occupation army:

On December 21, 22, 23, and 24, warplanes bombed the resistance areas of Martyr Sharif, Rosta Hill, Berbizinê, and Martyr Zinar Lolan Hill in Khakurke seven times, the areas of Dêreşê, Mije, Deshta Kafya, Sêdarê Hill, Zengil, and Rivk in Garê thirteen times, and the resistance areas of Serê Metina and Beshili in Metina three times. Resistance areas in FM Hill and Judi Hill in Martyr Delil area, west of Zap, were bombed twice, making a total of 25 airstrikes.

On December 24, the resistance area of Bahar Hill in Martyr Delil area, west of Zap, was bombed by attack helicopters thirteen times."
