Booby-trapped motorcycle dismantled in eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor

Hajin Military Council forces dismantled a booby-trapped motorcycle in the town of Abu Hamam in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor.

On Sunday, the Hajin Military Council forces affiliated with the Syrian Democratic Forces dismantled a motorcycle packed with highly explosive TNT that was prepared for remote detonation.

The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) website stated that: “ A booby-trapped motorcycle was placed by unknown persons in the town of Abu Hamam, in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, where the forces of the Hajin Military Council headed to the site after receiving a report from the people about the presence of a suspicious motorcycle on the school road in the town.”

The council’s specialized engineering units managed to dismantle the motorcycle.”

SDF's statement stressed that: “The forces of the Hajin Military Council affirm preserving security and stability of the region. They also look forward to the people’s continued cooperation with them and their contribution to preserving the security of their areas, by reporting any suspicious object in all areas.”
