Members of the Culture and Art Center in Afrin and Shahba Cantons denounced the international October 9 conspiracy, and pointed out that the leader had guided the Kurdish people to the path of victory.

Artist Majeed Kamal said about the international conspiracy that was hatched against Leader Ocalan in 1998: "We condemn this conspiracy in the name of all Afrin artists. Let those who cooperated with the Turkish state in this conspiracy review themselves and release the leader just as they handed him over to the Turkish state. His release proves that there is still humanity in the world, so where are the European Committee against Torture and human rights organizations in what is happening? Why do you remain silent? We ask it to break the silence, and we affirm, as Afrin artists, that we are always ready to do what is necessary for the freedom of leader Apo".

Hamouda Dawoud began his speech by denouncing the international conspiracy and said: "This conspiracy was hatched against the leader, to separate him from the people, in preparation for the annihilation of the Kurdish people, but they will never succeed in that, and they will never achieve their goal. We are the leader’s students and grew up on his thought and philosophy, and millions of people follow the leader’s thought and philosophy".

Romet Beko pointed out that the conspiracy that was hatched against the Leader is a conspiracy against all peoples, and she said: "With the departure of Leader Apo from Syria, a very painful history began. Before his arrest, Leader Apo went to several countries, but no one received him, from that, we can say that they are afraid of his thought and philosophy, because they are present with us. We will always struggle and raise the pace of the struggle for leader Apo’s physical freedom".
