Health Body: targeting health centers is war crime

The Health Body in Al-Jazera region, the unions, medical professions, the Kurdish Red Crescent issued a joint statement to public opinion about the attacks of the Turkish occupation state on the regions of NE Syria.

The statement was read in Kurdish by the Deputy Co-Chair of the Body, Hadiya Abdullah, and in Arabic by the Co-Chair Khaled Daoud.

The statement read : “The murderous and fascist Turkish state continues its daily attacks on NE Syria, especially since the fifth of this month, as it bombs with planes and artillery without stopping, targeting service centers, electricity, oil,and hospitals, as a result many civilians were martyred and wounded."

The statement added: "The brutal attacks on our people are taking place under the sight o f the world. The countries of the world have once again demonstrated and expressed their cooperation with the genocidal attacks committed by the Turkish state through their inaction on the genocidal operations committed against our people."

The statement pointed out that " We as health workers will carry out duty towards the people of the region.

The statement called on “international organizations, the United Nations and the international coalition forces to put an end of the Turkish attacks on the region.”

The statement also called on the World Health Organization to perform its duty.
