SDF reveal the toll of occupation attacks yesterday

SDF's Media Center published a statement in which it revealed the outcome of the attacks of the Turkish occupation army on the regions of NE, Syria during yesterday, Monday, October 9, 2023.

The text of the statement read:

The Turkish occupation is still continuing its attacks and targeting of the regions of NE, Syria, and has intensified the pace of its bombing further on the town of Ain Issa, where yesterday, Monday, it committed a massacre in the town of Ain Issa, killing two children, while bombing various other areas with heavy weapons.

The outcome of the fifth day of attacks was as follows:

- Number of times heavy weapons were targeted: /30/, including a point by Damascus government forces

- Number of civilian martyrs: two children.

- Number of wounded civilians: /5/ women.

The details were as follows:

1 - The town of Tal Tamr and Zerghan:

- At (11:01) the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries targeted with heavy weapons the villages of “Bobi and al-Rubaiyat” west of the town of “Zerghan”, and the bombing also targeted the village of “al-Mushairfa” north of the town as well.

- At 17:54, the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries targeted with heavy weapons the villages of “Khirbet Shair and Tal al-Ward” in the southern countryside of the town of “Zerghan.” They also targeted the villages of “Dada Abdal, Khadrawi and Asadi” in the northern countryside of “Zerghan.”

At 20:46, the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries targeted the village of “Dardara” in the countryside of “Tal Tamr” district with heavy artillery.

- At 10:06, the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries targeted the western countryside of the town of “Tal Tamr” with heavy artillery.

2 - The southern countryside of Afrin and the areas of al-Shahba:

- At 14:24, the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries targeted the village of “Khirbet Shaala” in the al-Shahba areas with heavy weapons.

- At (22:14), the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries targeted a point of Damascus government forces in the vicinity of the village of “Kundi Muzn/al-Zouk al-Kabir” in the “Sherawa” district in the southern countryside of Afrin. The bombing also targeted the village of “Kashtar” in the “Shara/Sharan” district in the southern countryside of Afrin. In conjunction with that Bombing the villages of “Ziwan, Kafr Antoun, and Sheikh Issa” in the Al-Shahba areas.

- At 22:58, the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries targeted the villages of “Aqiba and al-Ziyara” in the “Sherawa” district in the southern countryside of Afrin.

3 - The town of Ain Issa, Tal Abyad and its countryside:

- At 15:47, the Turkish occupation targeted the center of the town of “Ain Issa” and the villages of “Saida, al-Malikiyah and Mu’allaq” west of the town, and sites on the international road (M4), in addition to the villages of “Salouka, al-Hurriyah and Qronfal” in the western countryside of Girê Spi/Tal Abyad.

At (16:02), the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries targeted with heavy artillery the village of “Mastour” near the town of “Ain Issa.” The bombing resulted in the death of the two children, “Nadia al-Ayyash/10 years old” and “Ali al-Ayyash/9 years old.”

- At 18:07, the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries targeted with tank shells the grain silos in the center of the town of “Ain Issa” and the water tank in the village of “Jdeidah” in its western countryside.

- At 18:24, the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries targeted with heavy weapons the villages of “Karaya and Suwaydiya” in the eastern countryside of the town of “Ain Issa.”

4 - Ad-Darbasiyah and its countryside:

The Turkish occupation and its mercenaries targeted, around noon, male and female workers working in harvesting the cotton crop with heavy weapons in a village in the countryside of the town of “Ad-Darbasiyah”, which led to the injury of 5 female workers, who were transferred to Hasakah Hospital, while one of them remained in “Ad-Darbasiyah” Hospital due to a fracture in her leg.
