8 women organizations send letter to UN over Turkish attacks

8 women organizations sent a joint letter to the Secretary-General of the United Nations, António Guterres, and the United Nations institutions, rejecting the attacks of the Turkish occupation state on NE Syria.

Women organizations in NE Syria have joined efforts to confront the attacks of the Turkish occupation state in the international arena.

The letter was also addressed to 4 other United Nations institutions.

The institutions to which the letter was addressed are:

The High Commissioner for Human Rights, the Human Rights Commission, the Human Rights Council, and the Security Council.

According to information revealed by Kongra Star administrations, the letter, which was written in English and Arabic, calls on these institutions to carry out their responsibilities and end Turkey’s attacks that violate international law.

The women organizations that sent the joint letter are:

Kongra Star, Women's Council in NE Syria, Syrian Women's Council, Yazidi Women's Union in Rojava, Armenian Women's Union, Syriac Women's Union, Zenobia Women's Gathering, Center for Research and Protection of Women's Rights.
