2 citizens and 6 members of Internal Security Forces martyred in Turkish attacks

The Internal Security Forces confirmed that more than 15 Turkish drones had penetrated the airspace of NE Syria, and that two citizens and six members of the forces were martyred as a result of the ongoing Turkish attacks.

Today, the Media Center of the Internal Security Forces - North and East Syria issued a statement to public opinion, that reads:

"Since this morning, October 5, the Turkish state launched a series of attacks on our regions with more than 15 drones penetrating the airspace of NE Syria, and again targeted many points, infrastructure, service facilities, and gas and oil stations, resulting in injuries and victims, and its aggression also affected the populated regions".

We announce to public opinion that the Turkish aggression targeted populated areas and the damage it caused:

- 2 air strikes in the vicinity of the Washokani camp for the IDPs of Serekaniye in the Hasaka countryside.

- A factory in the village of Mushayrifa Hamma, northwest of Hasaka, which resulted in the injury of 3 civilians.

- The vicinity of Çil Agha Dam, north of Çil Agha district in Qamishlo Canton.

- A motorcycle in the village of Kharab Ashk, southeast of Kobani Canton, on the M4 international road, which led to the martyrdom of 2 civilians.

- Some villages inhabited by civilians in the countryside of Kobani, Tal Tamr, and Hasaka.

- A site for oil stores near the village of Girdahol, southwest of Tirbespiye district.

-The oil station in Al Qaws village in the countryside of Çil Agha district of Qamishlo Canton.

- A site in the vicinity of the water transfer station in the village of Al-Rakba, south of Tal-Tamr district, which resulted in material damage.

- Tal Habash village, south of Amuda district in Qamishlo Canton, which led to the martyrdom of 6 members of the Internal Security.

We call on our people from all components to the necessity of solidarity and unity, as happened in all previous stages, and to insist on their choice to protect their regions and to raise their voice to stop the Turkish aggression that targets the gains of our people in a free and dignified life after they succeeded in combating terrorism and preserving their civil peace and the stability of their regions".
