AA holds meeting of tribes notables in Euphrates region

The meeting held by the Autonomous Administration in the Euphrates Region for tribal notables in the Sarrin District Council began with a speech delivered by the head of the General Council of the Future Syria Party in the Euphrates Region, Farhan Haj Issa, who stressed that the homeland deserves for everyone to live in it freely and safely.

He added: "We were subjected to a lot of persecution, but today we face a historic opportunity to correct the course, and this will be achieved by the will of the peoples, and that all those who came to our regions did not come for us, but to achieve their interests."

The meeting concluded by making a statement on behalf of the notables of the Euphrates region, read by Sheikh Hazem Hamdan the notable of the Aoun clan.

The statement made it clear that the Syrian crisis has entered its 12th year without any signs of resolving it as a result of international interventions to serve its interests and the intransigence of the Syrian regime and its announcement of a security and military solution instead of searching for peaceful solutions through national dialogue.

The statement added, "The opposition has adopted a culture of war and killing, and all their goals were to conspire against NE Syria by relying on spreading agents among the components to sow discord.

The statement stressed that "the Autonomous Administration project is the only solution to the Syrian crisis, because it is a national project far from racism and sectarianism."

The statement stressed, "We, the notables of the Euphrates region, reject and condemn attempts to spread strife, and we will stand united alongside our SDF forces.
