Where is the justice on earth? They live in my house and I live in a tent?

The Turkish occupation, following its aggression against NE Syria on October 9, 2019, and its occupation of Serêkaniyê, Girê Spi province, and large parts of their countryside, caused the displacement of more than 300,000 of its original residents. Turkey and its gangs deliberately brought their families and settled them in the homes of the displaced forcibly to bring about demographic change, in addition to thousands of Syrian refugees whom the Turkish occupation authorities deport, including Iraqis and Afghans, on a daily basis from its lands to the occupied province.

The 34-year-old Mustafa Al-Eidan lives in the camp for displaced people in Girê Spi, which was established by the Autonomous Administration on November 22, 2019. He is a father of 5 daughters, an immigrant from the village of Kour Hassat (10 kilometers west of Girê Spi province). We found him during our tour in the camp.

Mustafa began his speech by saying: “There is no justice on earth. What did the Syrian people do to cause what happened to them? My house is in Tal Abyad, inhabited by a citizen from Eastern Ghouta, according to what I heard, called “Abu Haidar,” who is a leader in the so-called Turkish mercenary intelligence. We suffer the heat of summer and the cold of winter in a camp. We left our house, which we worked hard and struggled to build, while others could come and live in it. Where is justice?

A "malicious policy" of settlement followed by the occupier

Al-Eidan, who was working as a “concrete carpenter” before his displacement, added: “I heard from those who left after me that one of the mercenaries stole the wood pieces that I used to live from in my previous work, and that mercenaries are the ones who cultivate my land and harvest its crops, and I work as a day laborer to manage my family’s livelihood in In light of the difficult conditions of displacement that we are living in, we cannot do anything as a result of what happened to us after all nations and the international community abandoned us, but we have never given up hope of returning to our homes, for rights must return to their people.”

He added: Turkey is exploiting the political and military circumstances to implement its plans in our usurped lands by changing the demographics of the region ."
