HPG: 11 Turkish soldiers killed, 15 wounded
The People's Defense Forces killed 11 soldiers from the Turkish occupation army and wounded 15 others during qualitative operations in retaliation for leader Achin Mosh and her comrades.
HPG's Media Center issued a statement today, regarding its operations against the Turkish occupation army and the occupation attacks.
“Martyr Dalil area, west of Zap:
An operation was carried out on September 22, at 06:50, 07:20, 08:15, 09:40, 13:20, 13:40, 14:00, 16:40, and 18:00, against occupation soldiers stationed in a square. The resistance attacked Judi Hill with heavy weapons, and 11 sites were targeted. This operation was carried out by our forces affiliated with the Free Women’s Units - Star.
On September 22, at 14:00, occupation soldiers were targeted using a sniper tactic in the resistance square, Judi Hill. The operation resulted in the death of one of the occupation soldiers. This operation was carried out by our forces affiliated with the Free Women’s Units - Star.
On September 22, at 09:00, a surveillance camera belonging to the occupation soldiers was destroyed in the Al-Asr Resistance Square in Amadiyah Hill through a sniper tactic. On September 22, at 17:00 and 18:00, the occupation and its positions were targeted with heavy and semi-automatic weapons in the Resistance of the Al-Asr Square on Amadiyah Hill, where the occupiers’ tent was directly targeted and the tent caught fire and was destroyed along with the military equipment that was inside it, in this operation 8 occupation soldiers were eliminated and 15 others were injured.
On September 22, at 17:10, an operation was carried out against the occupation soldiers who were trying to advance into the resistance square on Amadiyah Hill. The operation resulted in the killing of two occupation soldiers using hand grenades and individual weapons. The body of one of the occupation soldiers remained for a period of time under the control of our teams.
On September 22, at 21:20, a surveillance camera belonging to the occupation soldiers was destroyed in the Al-Asr Resistance Square in Amadiyah Hill through a sniper tactic.
On September 23, between 04:00 and 05:00, our forces intercepted 15 times the movement of helicopters in the Al-Asr Resistance Square in Amadiyah Hill.
Khakurk region
On September 23, at 06:15, our forces affiliated with the Free Women’s Units targeted occupation soldiers with heavy weapons on Martyr Darwish Hill.
Matina area;
The helicopters were intercepted twice in the Matina area, on September 23, between 00:10 and 01:00.
Turkish occupation army attacks;
On September 22, the outskirts of the Zap River were bombed by warplanes twice, while the area of Martyr Dalil was bombed twice, while Sinina, the hill of the martyr Sharif, and the outskirts of the Lulan River in the Khakurk region were bombed by warplanes 7 times, and the total number of air strikes reached 11.
On September 22, the Martyr Dalil area, and the Matina area were bombed by helicopters.
The areas of Zap, Martyr Dalil, and Matina were also subjected to artillery shelling.”
