Internal Security Forces release people involved in acts of sabotage in Deir ez-Zor

The Internal Security Forces Media Center published news about their forces releasing a number of people who were arrested during the “Security Enhancement” operation and who were involved in sabotage operations.

The Center indicated that they were released after completing investigation procedures based on the general amnesty that was issued earlier and at the request of the people of the area, where they were handed over to their families.

On August 27, the Syrian Democratic Forces, led by the Deir ez-Zor Military Council, launched a security and military operation under the name “Security Enhancement,” primarily targeting ISIS mercenary cells, in addition to pursuing drug traffickers and criminal elements required to be brought to justice before justice institutions in Deir ez-Zor for committing crimes against the people and public institutions.

During the course of the operation, many people were involved in acts of sabotage of public property and service institutions and worked to spread chaos in Deir ez-Zor, and they were arrested by the security and military forces.
