Leader of NDF in Hasaka booby-trapped vicinity of his house

Security tension continues and events escalate between the National Defense mercenaries and the Damascus government forces within the security square in the city of Hasaka, amid the latter's besiegement of the house of the former's leader, as well as some of the deployment points of his mercenaries, following the security tension witnessed in those neighborhoods and their development into clashes yesterday.

ANHA correspondent reported the Damascus government forces controlled  other points of the National Defense mercenaries, and the mobilization of its “Haganah” forces in the streets surrounding the house of the mercenary leader called “Abdul Qadir Hamo,” near the “Baath Party branch.

ANHA correspondent reported from various sources from both sides in the security square, that the so-called Abdel Qader Hamo had rigged the surroundings of his house with mines, and deployed explosive cylinders prepared for detonation to prevent any attempt to storm him, insisting on refusing to leave the city.

Information received from multiple sources in the Damascus government forces and other supporters of the National Defense Forces intersected in confirming that the Damascus government forces asked the mercenary leader to leave the city, 4 days ago, via Qamishlo Airport, either to Damascus or Deir ez-Zor.

These events come against the backdrop of the attack by the leader of the National Defense mercenaries, Abdul Qadir Hamo, on one of the notables of the Jabour tribe on August 13, and after pressure and demands from the tribe to dissolve the National Defense.

These attempts were preceded by the so-called Governor of Hasaka, by order of the Damascus government, replacing AL Hamo with another and refusing to dissolve the mercenaries, claiming that they were personal actions, and does not represent national defense.”
