​​​​​​​SDF captures ISIS leader in Deir-ez-Zor

The Media Center of the Syrian Democratic Forces published a statement announcing the arrest of a leader of ISIS mercenaries in the town of al-Busira.

The statement stated that the special operations teams of their forces, based on confirmed information, raided on the 3rd of this September a house in which the mercenary “Yahya Ahmed Al-Haji, nicknamed Abu Baraa Al-Hassan, born in the city of al-Safira, was hiding. He is the financial official of the organization in what is called the Levant Province and a leader in the so-called military command body of the organization is responsible for financing terrorist cells in the region.”

The statement added that the mercenary Yahya Ahmed Al-Hajji, who was an assistant to the so-called Mamoun Al-Shami, the general official in charge of the so-called Finance Authority of ISIS "during his control of Deir ez-Zor and Raqqa, was active during the last period in financing terrorist cells, planning their terrorist attacks, and recruiting financiers."
