Deir-ez-Zor residents call to intensify "Security Enhancement" campaign

The people of Deir ez-Zor countryside called on the Syrian Democratic Forces to intensify the current security operation to eliminate ISIS cells and saboteurs, and to hold accountable all those who destabilized the security and stability of their areas during the last period, and they praised the sacrifices made in the process of "Security Enhancement."

The people's demands came during ANHA agency's monitoring of the reality of the countryside of Deir ez-Zor, following the "Security Enhancement" operation launched by the Syrian Democratic Forces on the 27th of last August, and its military operations ended on the 8th of September.

The people re-establish the importance of the demand due to the destruction of service institutions, their towns and cities at the hands of intrusive criminal groups.

ANHA's agency documented the intrusion of ISIS mercenary sleeper cells and extraneous criminal groups, by violating the most sacred values of society. They destroyed a shrine for the martyrs and looted its contents and the nearby mosque. They also looted and destroyed the contents of service institutions in every village they entered.

Citizen Ismail Al-Hassan, from the town of al-Basira, stated: "Civil institutions in general were vandalized by vandals, and the bakeries went out of service, causing great suffering to the people of the town."

Al-Hassan called on the Syrian Democratic Forces and the Internal Security Forces to hold accountable all those who tried to tamper with public property and all those who tried to play with the security and stability of the region.

Al-Hassan added, "We, the people of Deir ez-Zor, affirm our support for our forces, the Syrian Democratic Forces, and the process must be intensified, and the people who stirred up sedition and worked to sabotage institutions in the region must be held accountable."

The citizen, Saeed Al-Khader, from the town of Dhiban, in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, stated, "As a result of the destruction that befell the bakeries in the town of Dhiban by the vandals, we were cut off from bread, and after the vandals were expelled from it, the Syrian Democratic Forces provided bread to all the people."

He added: "Now the security situation is stable, and with the efforts of our forces, the Syrian Democratic Forces, life has returned to the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, but greater efforts must be made."

The citizen, Ali al-Makhlif, from the town of al-Tayyana in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, thanked the fighters of the Syrian Democratic Forces for their efforts in establishing security and safety in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor.

He said, "The Syrian Democratic Forces are the ones who represent us, and we are against the strife that took place in our regions, and we will not allow the weak-minded to tamper with the security and stability of our regions, and the process must continue and intensify further."
