5 of Tahrir al-Sham mercenaries killed and 11 wounded in Manbij
The forces of the Manbij Military Council eliminated 5 Turkish occupation mercenaries, during their attempt to infiltrate and attack the council’s points in the northern villages of Manbij.
According to the Media Center of the Manbij Military Council, the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation, along with the mercenaries of Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham (formerly the Al-Nusra Front), tried again to attack the Council's points in the village of Arab Hassan, on the northern side of the city.
The Center confirmed that the forces responded to the attempt, killing 5 mercenaries and wounding 11 others.
ANHA correspondent reported this morning that the operation had taken place, and the forces of the Manbij Military Council thwarted it.
The Turkish occupation mercenaries are launching violent ground attacks on Manbij, Tal Tamr, and Ain Issa, with the Syrian Democratic Forces announcing, on August 27, the launch of a “Security Enforcement” operation in Deir ez-Zor, against ISIS mercenary sleeper cells, crime perpetrators, and drug traffickers.
