Clashes between Damascus forces; Turkish mercenaries in Idlib countryside

Violent clashes with heavy and medium weapons took place between the forces of the Damascus government and the mercenaries of "Tahrir al-Sham" on the Malaga axis in the southern countryside of Idlib, coinciding with a raid by Russian warplanes on the town of Al-Fatira in the southern countryside of Idlib, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

A person was killed in the bombing of the Damascus government forces on the town of Al-Abzimo in the western countryside of Aleppo, while a soldier of the Damascus government forces was killed by the bullets of "Tahrir al-Sham" mercenaries on the Kafr Taal axis in the western countryside of Aleppo.

The "De-escalation zone" is witnessing sniping, infiltration and exchange of targets between the Damascus government forces and the Turkish occupation mercenaries from time to time, leaving many dead and wounded on both sides.

Thus, the number of people killed by ground targets within the "De-escalation zone" since the beginning of 2023 rises to 402, with 243 operations that varied between attacks, sniping operations, clashes and targets. More than 211 people from the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation and the Damascus government forces were injured in the aforementioned operations.
