SDF responded to the call in word and deed

The Syrian Democratic Forces were able to sweep the entire town of Al-Busira in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor from groups of mercenaries, criminal elements, and Nawaf Al-Bashir’s mercenaries.

Yesterday evening, the Syrian Democratic Forces fought violent battles in the town of Al-Busira in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor against sleeper cells affiliated with ISIS mercenaries, criminal elements, and Nawaf Al-Bashir’s mercenaries, and were able to purge the town of all subversive, criminal, and mercenary elements.

In the morning hours, the forces began a combing operation within the town, in addition to removing mines planted by criminal and sabotage elements, ISIS mercenaries, and Nawaf al-Bashir.

The cleansing operation came after an urgent appeal from the people of the town of Al-Busira to the Syrian Democratic Forces to speed up the cleansing of the town, and the Syrian Democratic Forces responded to the call.

It said in a statement: “We have received your appeals and calls to our forces for the need to get rid of the intruding armed groups that have wreaked havoc over the past few days in the region, destroyed and looted service institutions, including water institutions and municipalities, attacked security, and tried to create strife and problems without considering the consequences.”
