People of As-Suwayda continue their protests demanding a comprehensive political solution for the country in accordance with UN Resolution 2245 and a new social contract.

For the eleventh day in a row, the protests of the people of Suwayda continue, as hundreds gathered in Al-Sir Al-Karama Square in the center of the city to participate in a new protest against the Damascus government , according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

During the demonstration, the demonstrators chanted slogans, “Syria is ours, and it is not the house of Assad,” and they demanded the implementation of Resolution 2254 and political transition, in addition to improvement of living conditions.

Among the banners raised by the participants was “Salute to the Sun Nation in the east of the Euphrates,” and another raised by the participating women that read: “Free, civil, democratic Syria and building a new social contract for all Syrian men and women,” as these protests are witnessing remarkable female participation.
