​​​​​​​Delegation from the Kyrgyz Republic visits NE, Syria

The delegation was received by the Deputy Co-Chair of the Department of External Relations, Rubel Baho, and members of the Board of Directors, Khalid Ibrahim and Gulistan Ali.

The two sides discussed the relations between the Autonomous Administration and the Kyrgyz Republic, especially the fight against international terrorism and the great sacrifices made by the people of the region in the face of the terrorist organization ISIS.

The Deputy Co-Chair of the Department of Foreign Relations, Rubel Baho, affirmed the Autonomous Administration's position to solve the Syrian crisis represented by the Syrian-Syrian dialogue, and the Autonomous Administration's initiative based on the unity of the Syrian lands and the rights of all ethnic components and ethnicities in Syria.

Baho also talked about the challenges facing the Autonomous Administration, especially the daily attacks by the Turkish state through its drones and its strikes against civilians and administrators in the Autonomous Administration, and that "all these practices of the Turkish state undermine the efforts of the military forces and the International Coalition to Defeat ISIS ."

In his turn, the representative of the Kyrgyz Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Paket Kadyrov, said that the Kyrgyz Republic recognizes the sacrifices made by the Autonomous Administration and the Syrian Democratic Forces in the fight against ISIS.

Kadyrov thanked the Autonomous Administration and the Syrian Democratic Forces for the assistance provided in the process of repatriating the citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic.

At the end of the meeting, 64 children and 30 women from the families of ISIS mercenaries were handed over to the Kyrgyz Republic, according to a handover document between the two sides.
