The Turkish occupation state continues its ambitions to expand its occupation and influence in the Middle East regions, especially in Iraq and Syria, and to target and eradication its peoples.

After declining the borders of the Ottoman Sultanate under the Treaty of Lausanne 1923 to the current borders of Turkey, which includes Anatolia and a large part of the geography of Kurdistan, the Turkish occupation state continues to follow the policy of cultural and physical extermination against people Turkey from the boundaries of the "Misak-ı Millî."

In a speech delivered by Erdogan on September 29, 2016, he said: "The Treaty of Lausanne was a defeat for the Turks," intending to go towards the occupation of the lands of northern Syria and Iraq.

After a period of his speeches, scenes of a play performed by the Turkish occupation army spread on August 24, 2016, in which he exchanged roles with ISIS, who was occupying the cities of Jarablus, Al -Bab, Marea and Azaz in the northern countryside of Aleppo, to announce the occupation army its occupation of these areas.

The aim was to occupy the region before the Syrian Democratic Forces liberated it, given the proper liberation of the city of Manbij, which was launched in June that year, so that Turkey in its attack targeted some points of the Manbij Military Council and the Syrian Democratic Forces in the Manbij countryside and the eastern countryside that had been recently liberated.

In a televised interview by former Turkish Prime Minister Ahmed Dawoodoglu, broadcast by "News of Turk", he confessed to the agreement that took place between the Turkish occupation and Russia, which is the withdrawal of the so -called "Free Army" of the Turkish occupation from the eastern neighborhoods of Aleppo, in exchange for allowing the Turkish occupation army to launch the so -called The "Euphrates Shield" operation, during which Jarablus, Al -Bab and Azaz were occupied.

Why August 24?

On August 24th, the Turkish occupation state chose to launch its attacks on the north of Syria and occupy the area extending from Jarablus to the city of Azaz, where the so -called "victory day" for the Turks is in the Battle of Marj Dabiq on August 8 in 1516 between the Ottomans and Mamluks, which led to the Sultan's district The Ottoman Selim I to the commander of the Mamluk Qansuh Al -Ghuri on August 24 of the same year in the Dabiq area, so it was called the Battle of Marj Dabiq.

And it is a village in the Azaz area and is administratively affiliated with the Aktarian area, 35 from the center of the Syrian city of Aleppo.

Diplomatic movements

The Turkish attack was accompanied by Jarablus, Al -Bab and Azaz on August 24, 2016, with a visit to then US Vice President Joe Biden to Turkey, where he expressed his direct support for Turkish movements in Syria.

As preceded on August 23, the arrival of Nechirvan Barzani to the Turkish capital, Ankara, on an official visit at the invitation of Erdogan.

Nechirvan Barzani expressed his support for Turkish attacks and attacked the PKK, after Masoud Barzani himself claimed in 2013 that there was no revolution in Rojava, and that Turkey's mercenaries from the "Free Army" did not commit any massacres against the Kurds in Tel Aran and Tal Hasel.

Among the most prominent steps made by the Turkish occupation; During his attack on the areas adjacent to the border strip in northern Syria, he deliberately destroyed entire neighborhoods, especially in the occupied city of Al -Bab, and continued to establish military bases on the ruins of the destroyed civilian homes.

In rejection of this, the people of the Sheikh Aqil neighborhood rose in the occupied city of Al -Bab in the face of the Turkish occupation repeatedly in the recent period, but its mercenaries suppressed these demonstrations.

Settlements

Shortly after its occupation, the Turkish occupation began the establishment of settlements in the area from Jarablus to the city of Azaz.

Where the Turkish occupation worked to establish more than 500 settlement units in the city of Al -Bab, spreading extensively on the main road to the city of Jarablus and Azaz.

In the city of Jarablus, more than 300 settlement units were established in the first stage, within the so -called "Economic Housing Group" project, and in the second stage about 540 settlement units, and in the third stage it established more than 800 settlement units.

The settlement project is located in the village of Amarna in the countryside of Jarablus on the main road, which connects it with all villages and towns of the city of Jarablus.

According to what was revealed by the so -called "local councils" of the Turkish occupation, the number of settlement units in Jarablus reached 3,782 housing units, and the establishment of a settlement complex in the city of Azaz from 400 units.

The intentions of a long -term occupation

The occupation crimes were not limited to looting, destruction and building settlements only, but also targeted the educational reality, as it imposed the Turkish language.

According to observers, attempts to acquire Turkish sovereignty over the Syrian territories, and the intention of a long -term survival of the Turkish occupation in the north of Syria and the annexation of the occupied Syrian regions of Turkish territory when international conditions allow this.

But according to the Hague Treaty in 1907, materials from 42 to 56 and the Fourth Geneva Convention, Articles 27 to 34 and from 47 to 78, no occupation authority may gain sovereignty over local lands for another country.

The occupied north ... aspects that make them more like in Turkish cities

The Turkish occupation state has transformed the general manifestations that the Syrian north of the Syrian cities turned into aspects similar to those in Turkish cities, by raising the Turkish flag and Erdogan's pictures over all institutions and departments of the occupation and its mercenaries, in addition to schools, public squares and streets, as it deliberately changed. The names of the streets, squares and cities to Turkish names, and the most prominent example is to change the name of the city of the al-Rai to (Joban Bay).

The fate of the Kurds

There are more than 125 Kurdish villages in the area from Jarablus to the city of Azaz, Turkey exerts pressure on its residents with the aim of obliterating their true identity.

According to Kurdish citizens in the occupied city of Al -Bab, Turkish intelligence exploits civilians in the occupied Syrian north, by opening fake records that the residents of the region are of Turkmen origin, and continue to exploit them by providing them with relief and money materials, with the aim of including them to the Turkmen parties formed by them.

Citizens indicated that they are prevented from speaking the Kurdish language in that region, and they are forced to learn the Turkish language, as it is exercised pressure from them by parties and Turkmen mercenary groups working for Turkish intelligence.

Turkey's eye on Aleppo

In this context, the Secretary -General of the Syrian Democratic Alliance Party, Ahmed Al -Araj, said that the Turkish occupation state occupied the Syrian north under the pretext of fighting ISIS mercenaries, after the Syrian Democratic Forces advanced to liberate Manbij, Jarablus and al-Bab.

Al -Araj explained that Turkey occupied the north of Syria on behalf of its agent ISIS, as the latter changed its clothing and engaged within the so -called "free army".

Al -Araj pointed out that Turkey, after its occupation of the north of the Syrian from Jarablus to Afrin, is still its eye on the city of Aleppo and the entire border strip, under the so -called " Misak-ı Millî."

Al -Araj indicated that the Syrians need real national powers and will and start the Syrian -Syrian dialogue to end the Syrian crisis and end the Turkish occupation of the Syrian lands, and not to bet on the path of Astana, the Geneva and Moscow platform that does not serve the Syrians.

The Secretary -General of the Syrian National Democratic Alliance Party called on the Damascus government to insist on the exit of the Turkish occupation from the Syrian territories.

Long -term occupation

For his part, lawyer Ala al-Din Khaled stated that international and international laws do not grant Turkey the right to occupy the north of Syria, as Syria is a "member state of the United Nations."

He explained that the Turkish occupation state was and still supplies ISIS mercenaries with weapons, equipment and money during their occupation of the area from Jarablus until Azaz, stressing that all roads and crossings were open to them, asking: How does Turkey fight ISIS?

The lawyer emphasized that the occupation of the Syrian north was a deal between the Russian Federation and the Turkish occupation to hand over the eastern neighborhoods in the city of Aleppo to the forces of the Damascus government in exchange for the occupation of the north of Syria.

He pointed out that the Syrian north does not have security and stability in light of the presence of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries, contrary to what the Turkish occupation state claims to establish a "safe" area.

At the end of his speech, lawyer Ala al -Din Khaled stressed that the Turkish move in the north of Syria is strengthening and establishing a long -term occupation process.

It should be noted that these areas prevail in murders, clashes, and bombings that upset their residents and endanger their lives, as well as kidnapping, looting and robbery deliberately.
