The Turkish occupation state has settled 30 Syrian refugees in the occupied Afrin Canton, after forcibly deporting them to it.

According to local sources from Afrin, which has been occupied by Turkey since 2018, the Turkish authorities deported 30 Syrian refugees yesterday, through the Hammam village crossing, and settled them in the occupied Canton.

Sources had told ANHA agency at the beginning of August that the Turkish occupation had deported more than 2,000 families to the occupied Afrin Canton from the Hammam village crossing in Janders district, since the beginning of this year, and settled them in the Canton.

Sources also reported that the Turkish gendarmera kidnapped 7 people who tried to cross the Turkish-Syrian border in the occupied Afrin Canton, to hand them over to its mercenaries after fining them.
