Demonstration in Manbij, demanding physical freedom of leader Ocalan

The people of Manbij and its countryside went out in a mass demonstration to demand the physical freedom of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, under the slogan "With the struggle and resistance of the young woman, we will achieve the physical freedom of the leader Abdullah Ocalan".

Today, the Young Women's Union in Manbij organized a demonstration to demand the physical freedom of the leader, Abdullah Ocalan.

Members of the Young Women's Union, members of the Civil Administration and its affiliated committees, civil councils, political parties, civil society organizations, sheikhs and notables of clans, and the Syrian revolutionary youth participated in the demonstration, raising banners that read "Woman, Life, Freedom, Support Freedom," and "No one can block our sun", and pictures of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, chanting the slogans "Long live the resistance of the leader", "There is no life without the leader", "Women, life is freedom".

Upon the demonstration’s arrival at Al-Wadi Street, the participants observed a minute of silence in honor of the souls of the martyrs. Then, member of the Young Women’s Union, Amina Barkal, delivered a speech in which she said: “In the name of the Young Women’s Union in Manbij and its countryside, we stand together today with our struggling people who reject all forms of violence and enslavement practiced against our people by the capitalist regimes that try by various means to kill the will of all people seeking freedom and against the will of peoples' brotherhood".

And she pledged, "We pledge to the leader Abdullah Ocalan and all our fellow fighters that we will increase the pace of our revolutionary struggle until the leader's physical freedom is achieved".

For her part, member of the Syrian Initiative for the Freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan, Asia al-Hussein, delivered a speech in which she affirmed: "We gather here to raise our voice loudly and demand the lifting of the isolation imposed by the Turkish occupation state on the leader Abdullah Ocalan".

She added, "Because our project, which is based on the thought of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, has proven to be the only solution to resolving outstanding issues in the Middle East, and because it is not compatible with the approach of the capitalist modernity system, strict isolation is imposed on the leader".

She stressed: "Our first and last goal is to break the isolation imposed on leader Ocalan and achieve his physical freedom".
