"SDF is nucleus of national army that protects our land"

Today, hundreds of people, members of civil and military institutions, members of the Future Syria Party, and sheikhs and notables of Tabqa clans, went out in the center of the Al-Awal neighborhood in Tabqa city, in a march, carrying the flags of the Syrian Democratic Forces, the flags of the Women's Protection Units, and banners that read "The blood of the martyrs is a beacon Freedom,” and another, “Syrian Democratic Forces, the guarantor of participatory, democratic, and political pluralism".

The march started from the Al-Awal neighborhood in the middle of Tabqa to the Maysaloun roundabout in the Al-Thani neighborhood, chanting the slogans "Yes to the Syrian Democratic Forces, and the Syrian Democratic Forces represent us".

Upon the crowds' arrival at the Maysaloun roundabout, the participants observed a minute of silence in honor of the souls of the martyrs, after which the head of the Future Syria Party Council in the city of Tabqa, Ahmad al-Khalaf, delivered a speech in which he praised the role of the SDF in liberating the regions of NE Syria from ISIS mercenaries.

Ahmed al-Khalaf affirmed, "Today we stand together with our forces and grant them some of their rights over us, and we remember their great sacrifices".

Al-Khalaf pointed out: “Our great forces, every comrade among you, belongs to the best of forces and belongs to the best of the land, and let each one of you know that you are the strongest with your steadfastness and firm belief in your principles derived from the thought and philosophy of the democratic nation, and your adherence to achieving justice and moving steadily towards democracy, pluralism and equality.

And he stated: "You have stood side by side, men and women, in the face of the terrorist organizations, the occupation forces and its mercenaries, and you have fought a fierce war on behalf of the whole world, in all of your different components, Arabs, Kurds, Assyrians, Syriacs, Circassians and Armenians".

Al-Khalaf added: "In addition to the great role played by the Women's Protection Units in consolidating the foundations of this great victory, you were a strong fortress, carrying weapons in one hand and spreading love, intimacy and tolerance with the other hand, so that was the only way to dispel the darkness of terrorism, tyranny and totalitarian rule in thought and entity".

Al-Khalaf affirmed: "on behalf of the Tabqa Council of the Future Syria Party and the people of Tabqa with all its components, we affirm our support for the SDF, in which we see the ideal guarantor for obtaining freedom and the implementation of participatory, pluralistic political democracy, and the nucleus of a national army that protects the land, preserves honor and stands at the same distance from all components".
