​​​​​​​HPG: 2 Turkish occupation soldiers killed

Today, the Media Center of the People's Defense Forces (HPG) issued a written statement revealing the outcome of the Guerrilla operations, and the continuous attacks of the Turkish occupation army on the defense areas of Media in Başûr Kurdistan, during the past 24 hours.

The statement reads:

In the area of the martyr Dalil, west of Zap:

On August 20, at 11:30, our fighters in the ranks of the Free Women Units - Star carried out a sniping operation against the surveillance cameras of the Turkish occupation army in the Resistance Square in Judy Hill, and the cameras were completely destroyed during it.

On the same date, at around 14:10, our Guerrilla forces dealt heavy blows to the trenches of the Turkish aggression in the Resistance Square in Judy Hill, with heavy weapons.

Our Guerrilla forces, led by the Free Women Units - Star, on August 20 at 15:00, targeted the Turkish occupation soldiers while they were trying to penetrate the war trenches in the Resistance Square in Judy Hill, with their heavy weapons, and the occupiers' attempts ended with the intervention of our forces.

On the same date, our fighters of the Free Women Units - Star carried out another sniping operation at 16:00 against the Turkish aggression army in the Resistance Square in Judy Hill, and the operation resulted in the death of a Turkish soldier.

On August 20, between 22:40 and 22:00, the helicopters of the occupation army hovered in the sky of the Resistance Square in Judy Hill, where our forces intervened 6 times to prevent Skorsky's helicopters that were trying to land their soldiers in the square.

On August 21, at 01:00, our fighters of the Free Women Units - Star dealt strong blows to the Turkish occupation army while they were trying to enter the trenches of war in the Resistance Square in Judy Hill, with heavy weapons, and the operation resulted in the killing of a Turkish soldier and ending the occupiers' movements in the square.

The Turkish occupation army' attacks:

On August 20, warplanes of the Turkish occupation state bombed Resistance Square in Judy Hill 5 times and Bahar Hill in the Martyr Dalil area, west of Zap, once as well, as the occupation warplanes bombed the 2 aforementioned areas 6 times.

The martyr Dalil area, west of Zap, and the Haftanin area were also bombed by the Turkish occupation artillery several times".
